Yesterday, Nate took the kids to the mountains for a few hours of quality Daddy time. (Leaving Mommy alone at home to get some things done around the house. :)) It was our first Daddy Fest! The kids had a blast. They climbed and jumped off rocks, had a picnic and splashed in the creek. Nate's so brave, he even took Gibby! Grace asked if we could have Daddy Fest every time Daddy doesn't have work.

Daddy Fest!

So fun! Scott did a similar thing with the girls yesterday...swimming, swinging, chasing...The girls loved it! Kids really need that time with their dads. Way to go, Nate! Hopefully you got to rest a little, Kristi, while they were gone! :)
He is brave! Good for him! That's a pretty darn cute picture too. Did you get lots done?...or have a little time to relax...both I hope! :)
